I was BRASHed! (notice the paper under the window)

Since 1999 BRASH has been writing poetry for the art at Artomatic. The goal has always been to write a poem for each participating artist, quite a lofty goal with over 1,000 artists at each Artomatic. I understand that goal was only breached twice, by only two poems.

Thank you, BRASH! I am impressed with how well you captured the essence of my exhibit - the dreams, with one being part of a bigger whole. Keep up the great work… I donated on your Kickstarter!!

As the doors close on Artomatic 2012, I want to take a moment to send a huge THANK YOU to my sister, parents, cousins, friends, co-workers, friends of friends, fellow artists, and new customers who all took the time to visit my exhibition and lend me your support! Your traveling from other parts of Virginia, Maryland, DC and as far away as New Jersey were SO appreciated along with your words of encouragement and appreciation!

I also want to recognize my son for tagging along on several of my trips to the show and thank him for helping me paint my wall on my very first installation day! His cheerful, “Mommy-you-can-do-it!” attitude helped me overcome many of my fears.

Another big THANK YOU goes to my “personal promoter” who rolled up his sleeves to help me during installation, de-installation, and provided the support I needed during my shaky moments of opening night, the first weeks of the show and returned with me countless times to visit every floor!

Artomatic 2012 was an empowering experience for me and I can’t wait for the next one! Thank you, all.

Synergie Arts at Artomatic 2012 made it onto Izze soda’s Facebook page!! A big thank you to the photographer Robin Kovzelove and my sister, Dana.

More 2nd floor WOW at Artomatic. Fabulous colorful abstract works made with plastics and acrylics.

Color, color, and more color! Can you believe the wall is all post-it notes??!!
